Koraljka Bakota
Koraljka Bakota works at SUVAG Polyclinic, Zagreb, Croatia. She has worked at SUVAG since 1989, first as a history teacher, using the verbotonal method. In 2007 she became Head of SUVAG Primary School. In 2008 she was Deputy Director, and in 2009 she became Head of Department for medical rehabilitation and education of children with hearing and/or speech difficulties. At the Centre for Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb, she teaches two courses: “Working with Children with Special Needs”, and “Educational Integration of Children with Difficulties”. She took part in various scientific projects, and published a number of scientific and professional papers. She edited and co-authored three books.
