Gordana Koščec
Gordana Košćec works at SUVAG Polyclinic, Zagreb, Croatia. She graduated from Academy of Fine Arts and Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zagreb, with a degree in art history and art teaching. She continued her education in the verbotonal method and art therapy. At SUVAG Polyclinic she works with children with hearing impairments and speech difficulties as a verbotonal art teacher. Since 2008 she mentors art teachers, and students of art and phonetics. She has been a guest lecturer at Faculty of Teacher Education since 2012. The importance of visual art education in development of children with special needs is her main field; she writes textbooks, manuals, and runs educational art workshops for teachers.
